An overview of two certification programs — LPCQualified, a program for novice loss
prevention employees, and LPCertified which is offered for more experienced LP
personnel. The Loss Prevention Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to oversee the educational certification programs, which are endorsed by the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and the National Food Service Security Council (NFSSC).
