Grocery baggers have a vital role in retail food stores. They are a main contact with customers and can leave a lasting impression. The Pennsylvania's Best Bagger Championship celebrates their talents in proper bag building, speed, weight distribution, customer service and professional appearance.

Participants in the 2011 Pennsylvanias Best Bagger Championship will bag in plastic and reusable bags. Download information and the score sheets for bagging in plastic and reusable bags. This information is provided by the National Grocers Association, hosts of the national championship.

Prizes

The Pennsylvania's Best Bagger Champion wins a championship trophy, $250 from PFMA, and an expense-paid trip to the national competition during the National Grocers Association Convention (NGA) in Las Vegas, February 13, 2012 (tentative). The winner is awarded an additional $250 from NGA once they arrive at the national contest.
