PA Dept. of Labor & Industry: Overtime rules in Pennsylvania
New overtime rules in the federal Fair Labor Standards Act take effect nationwide on Monday, Aug. 23, 2004. Pennsylvania employers will need to follow both the new federal overtime rules and the overtime requirements of Pennsylvania's Minimum Wage Act. (More)

Tobacco Sales

The Directory Act and Tobacco Sales
The Directory Act requires all tobacco manufacturers who wish to sell cigarettes within Pennsylvania, to register with the Office of Attorney General in order for their brands to be listed in the directory of legal cigarettes. Retailers can comply with the state's Directory Act by contacting the Attorney General's web site for tobacco manufacturer participation listings. (More)
