At the request of PFMA members operating pharmacies, PFMA was asked to consider representing the legislative and regulatory issues facing pharmacies. After several meetings, stakeholders adopted by-laws and agreed to incorporate the new council. In October 2002, the Pennsylvania Pharmacy Council (PPC) was incorporated and the council began identifying and prioritizing its legislative agenda.
