The Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association and Pennsylvania Convenience Store Council respect your right to privacy while using our web site. We adhere to the following privacy policy.
Collection of Personal Information
PFMA/PCSC only collects personal information that you voluntarily provide to us through conference registration, membership application, purchasing materials, requesting information or subscribing to our publications.
If we collect personal information from you, we will not sell it to third parties. We may use it internally for promoting PFMA services and events. You will always have the ability to discontinue promotional correspondence by following the instructions on the email.
Our advertisers, promotional partners and linked web sites have their own privacy policies. Please review their policies before providing information to them. PFMA/PCSC is not responsible for the use of information provided to those companies.
Non-personal Information
PFMA/PCSC may collect certain non-personal information from you, including your browser type (ie. Internet Explorer or Netscape), your operating system (ie. Windows or Macintosh), Internet Service Provider and the search engine where you accessed the site (ie. Google or Yahoo). In addition, PFMA/PCSC may collect information regarding your visits to the site, such as the date and time you visited the web site, and the amount of time you spent looking at the web site and particular information.

As a Charge account customer, you may share personal information with us. We share this information with our corporate affiliates (card processing) in order to process transactions that you have requested on your VISA / MasterCard Charge account. We also use this information to improve our services to you and for marketing and promotional purposes within our Association. Because the security of your personal information is very important to us, we restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those associates and our Card processor who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect your nonpublic personal information.
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- information you provide on charge account applications and other forms, such as change of address forms, by telephone or in person to our representatives;
- information about your transactions with us, through the processing of sales and return transactions in our stores, on our Web site and through our catalogs;
- information about your transactions with other retailers and financial institutions; and,
- information from consumer reporting agencies.
