Ethan Chase
Genuardi's, Langhorne, PA
"I am honored to be selected as the recipient of this award. I am thankful for all the individuals who have assisted me in obtaining such an award. This award will be used to further my education, so that I may potentially be able to give back to the community that has given me so much."
Ethan Chase will pursue an accounting degree at Liberty University this fall. The Neshaminy High School graduate works in customer service for Genuardi's, sponsor of his Ridge Scholarship.
In high school, Chase was a member of the volleyball team, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America and was honored as Neshaminy's Business Student of the Month.
His community service activities include World Vision 30 Hour Famine, Aid for Friends, and serving as a leader for Vacation Bible School.
In his essay, Chase writes about his goal of becoming a forensic accountant.
"As a profession, I would like to be one who is able to fight crime, but also watch numbers. What is a better way to do this than to be a forensic accountant for the FBI or some other federal agency within this world."
