Coupon Shipping Guidelines
Coupons are like cash, make sure they get to PCRS safely and are handled according to your wishes by following these tips:
Package the coupons carefully to ensure they are not damaged or destroyed in transit. For large shipments, put your coupons in a plastic bag, tie the bag shut and then enclose the bag in a sturdy box. For small shipments, enclose your coupons in a strong envelope. Wrap and tape all packages securely.
Always affix a pre-printed PCRS shipping label with your store name and address to the outside of your package and indicate the payment plan selected. This ensures that we can properly identify your shipment and process it according to the payment term you prefer (if no payment plan is selected, PCRS will process the coupons using the 20-working day option).
If you have a claimed coupon value and/or count, write that information where indicated on the pre-printed PCRS shipping label. PCRS does NOT require you to sort or count your coupons, but any claimed count or value information you provide is recorded in our system based on what is written on the label. Do not put claim information inside the package as it can get mixed in with the coupons and may go undetected.
If you send more than one box or envelope per shipment, please indicate as such (1 of 2, 2 of 3, etc.) on the outside of each package. That way our receiving personnel know that they received your complete shipment.
Do not staple coupons together or staple receipts to coupons. The staples must be removed to scan and process the coupons, and coupons may be damaged or destroyed when the staples are removed.
We'll Take It From There
The rest is our job. Once PCRS receives your coupons, we will assign your store a PCRS ID # and email you a receipt indicating the date your coupon check will be mailed (based on the payment plan you selected). Quick, efficient and accurate processing of all your coupons utilizing state-of-the-art scanning technology is started immediately. Your check and support documentation is mailed to you on the date indicated on your acknowledgement receipt.
PCRS Redemption Policy
We want you to get paid for all the manufacturer coupons that were properly redeemed by customers in your store. To minimize payment denials by coupon-issuing manufacturers, please ship coupons to PCRS at least once a month and do not in any way alter the physical appearance of the coupon after accepting them from consumers. The only exception is to ensure that cashiers always write on the face of any FREE coupon the amount of the discount given. Please do not submit any of the following:
Coupons that were not submitted by a consumer or for the product indicated or according to the manufacturer's terms printed on the coupon;
In-Ad coupons;
Salesman-redeemable coupons;
Coupons redeemable for premiums;
Non-coupon discounts such as rebate checks, gift certificates and bottle caps.
Misredemption
Manufacturers may refuse payment to and take legal action against a store for submitting coupons of suspect condition and origin. Misredemption is any of the following:
Customers presenting coupons for merchandise not purchased;
Cashiers cashing coupons for merchandise not purchased;
Store operators procuring or purchasing coupons for the purpose of submitting to manufacturers without a consumer purchase of product.
PCRS cooperates fully with manufacturers in their efforts to curtail misredemption. We reserve the right to refuse to process any coupons that appear to be fraudulent or not redeemed property. PCRS protects the interests of its honest retail clients by not accepting questionable coupons.
