C&S Wholesale Grocers, based in Keene, New Hampshire, recently announced the staff changes in its Independent Sales organization that will better position its teams to deliver a customer-centric approach and provide differentiated value to its independent retail base.
Frank Puleo, vice president, Marketing and Retail Services for the Mid-Atlantic Region, assumes the national responsibility for Retail Marketing, Advertising, Service and Store Development.
Fred Foose, director of marketing for the Mid-Atlantic Region, takes on national responsibility for Marketing and Advertising, supporting the wholesaler’s independent retailers. He will report to Puleo.
John Hoffman, manager, Category Merchandising for the Mid-Atlantic Region, now oversees National Category Merchandising and in-store execution; he continues to report to Puleo. Kathy Marrs, senior category manager, Retail, joins Hoffman in support of the company’s national category management effort. She will continue to work out of the Keene, New Hampshire office.
Dennis Campbell, director, retail development, moves from the Eastern Independent Sales Group to Puleo’s Mid-Atlantic Region group and takes on responsibility for national retail development. Bob Verlik Jr. and Joe Pinto, managers, Retail Store Development in the Facilities & Automation group, will report to Dennis Campbell.
Corey Quiring, senior director of Corporate Retail Services, assumes responsibility for retail pricing and reports to Christopher Brown. The company also announced the promotion of Mark Alexander to senior manager for Retail Technology Services — East, and Brian Jacobs to Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager for Retail Technology Services, filling Alexander’s former position. Jacobs will oversee the daily operations of the company’s Dubois and Robesonia customers in addition to the Northeast Help Desk team.
All associates will remain at their current office locations in Robesonia, Pa. or Keene, N.H.
