
PFMA held its biannual Loss Prevention Committee meeting in October. The meeting was held on the campus of St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
Guest speakers included local Drug Enforcement Association (DEA) Diversion Program Manager Donnetta Spears and Stefanie Mangiante and Sean Huggins from CVS.
Ms. Spears addressed the group regarding recent trends in drug diversion, and the group discussed their policies and procedures for reporting possible drug diversion.
Ms. Mangiante and Mr. Huggins led discussion on the Metro Organized Retail Crime Association, which is a membership association of retailers that share data, information, and videos regarding theft in their stores.
