Malvern, PA – Albertsons-Safeway has named Dan Croce President of ACME Markets. He succeeds Jim Perkins, who was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of the parent company’s East Region.

Croce, a 30-year grocery industry veteran, began his career with SuperFresh/A&P Food Markets. He joined ACME Markets in 2005 as a district manager and subsequently assumed roles of increasing responsibility, including director of operations and vice president of operations. In 2014, Croce was promoted to vice president of marketing & merchandising.

“Dan has a passion for the business and a wealth of experience that make him a great fit for the leadership role at ACME Markets,” said Jim Perkins. “That, combined with his exceptional track record of success, makes him well positioned to lead the division.”

Croce is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business in 1991.

ACME Markets operates more than 100 stores in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

In regard to the corona virus the managers are in the store 10-12 hours a day. What is Acme doing to protect the managers at the store level? How are you keeping them safe?

After exposing a family member of mine twice to this virus. Her quarantining herself to be forced back to work a few days into her quarantine is completely uncalled for your putting people at risk i will never shop at any acme ever again and will tell all of how your managers are treating employees and a complete disregard for public safety

I shop at the Acme at 8200 Roosevelt Blvd. Is there any way we could donate to a fund for the essential employees, young & old, who I see in the store all the time putting themselves in jeopardy so that we have food on the table each day?I am beyond grateful and I believe many customers would love to show their appreciation for these dedicated employees.

with the onset of COVID we have moved to on line ordering and curbside. We've been brand loyal up to this time. The website is terrible to navigate. Difficult to find items or save favorites. I'm not a software developer but this is past due for an upgrade. Moving on to the big W for grocery delivery.
