
PFMA associate member Herbein + Company, a regional public accounting firm, recently promoted four executives to partner.
They are: David Cordier, CPA, MST; Craig Mengel, CPA; Josh Pollet, CPA; and Randall Raifsnider, ASA, MBA.
David F. Cordier, CPA, manages Herbein’s Allison Park, Pa. office, a role he took on following Herbein’s acquisition of Braund, Eiler & Vasko in August 2014. He joined Herbein in 2003 and was named senior manager in 2011. Following earning his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Penn State, he earned his Master’s of Science in Taxation from Robert Morris University in 2006.
Craig A. Mengel, CPA, specializes in working with owners of privately-held businesses in coordinating their accounting, tax and business consulting needs. He is a graduate of Albright College, Leadership Berks and serves in financial volunteer roles at Alsace Lutheran Church and Opportunity House.
Josh A. Plllet, CPA, began his career as an intern with Herbein. Upon graduation from Pennsylvania State University, he joined the audit department in 2005. He manages the audits of several of the firm’s largest clients, primarily is the dairy, food, cooperatives and manufacturing industries. He is frequently asked to speak about key financial measurements and cost accounting topics and food and agricultural industry conferences.
Randall C. Raifsnider, ASA, MBA, is a leader within Herbein’s Management Advisory Services group. His work in transactions is highly specialized and each project is unique. His experience includes industries such as food and agricultural, manufacturing, services and entertainment. A graduate of Kutztown University, he also earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Villanova University, and is a graduate of Leadership Berks. He serves as vice chair of the American Red Cross, Berks Chapter and as a finance committee member for Opportunity House.
