Joseph Martin, a graduate of Central Dauphin High School (CDHS), is the recipient of the 2016 Weis Markets, Inc. scholarship, a four-year award. He is the son of David Martin, who works for Weis Markets.
At CDHS, he was a member of the wind, jazz and percussion ensembles, serving as the percussion principal chair. He also served on the student council and was a member of the National Honor Society. His community service includes working at the CDHS coffee shop, serving as a recycling coordinator and operating the video system at his church.
Martin will enter his freshman year at Drexel University in Philadelphia this fall, where he plans to study computer science.
