“I am so incredibly thankful and blessed! This award will enable me to pursue my master’s level education and for that I am so grateful.”
Following her graduation from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Sciences in December, Lauren Reichart will attend the University of Florida to obtain her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Her mother, Linda Reichart, works for Wawa, Inc., sponsor of her Ridge Scholarship.

This is her second Ridge Scholarship. She also won in 2015.
In her essay, Reichart wrote about being able to help her grandfather, who had a stroke.
“I was meant to be someone who can help, comfort and support those who are unable to communicate,” she wrote.
