The Mid-Atlantic Food Trades Organization (MAFTO) honored Jonathan Weis, president, CEO and chairman of Weis Markets, Inc., as its 2014 Person of the Year during its annual Dinner-Dance Weekend at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore.
The successful event, which had been rescheduled from last fall due to the closing of the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, exceeded 500 attendees.
Weis thanked his father Robert F. Weis and the entire Weis team, many whom joined him to celebrate the evening. Additionally, Poletti read a special citation from Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf.
