Rutter's Director of HR
Suzanne Cramer, director of Human Resources and Recruiting for Rutter’s, was named a 2017 Top Women in Convenience by Convenience Store News magazine during a presentation at the NACS Show in Chicago last week.
Convenience Store News selects 50 women executives, managers and rising stars to win a Top Women in Convenience Award. Co-workers nominate awardees to recognize their accomplishments, initiatives, participation and performance in the company. Four Rutter’s employees have won Top Women in Convenience Awards in the past three years.
“It is a huge honor for me to be awarded such a prestigious award by Convenience Store News,” Cramer said. “I pride myself on being a role model to many of the young women we hire at Rutter’s and hope to continue this opportunity for years to come.”
Cramer joined Rutter’s in 2013 as its social media manager and quickly helped the company evolve its social, mobile and loyalty initiatives, resulting in customer engagement that is best in class among industry peers. She was promoted to brand manager in 2015 where she assisted with delivering strong advertising campaigns to support Rutter’s growth in foodservice, beverage and loyalty programs. She was honored with the “Corporate Making a Difference Award” in 2015. Last year, she was promoted to Director of Recruitment and was able to utilize her strategic acumen and strong marketing skills to drive a customer centric approach to human resources that has further solidified Rutter’s “winning” culture.
