Tiffany Dawson recently graduated from Altavista Combined School in Altavista, Virginia. She works for Food Lion, a PFMA member.
Dawson was an honors student in high school and graduated from Central Virginia Community College’s Early College Program, earning an associate’s degree in general studies. She was very active in Future Business Leaders of America, serving as president, vice president, social chair and a voting delegate. She earned the club’s Community Service Award for 50 hours of service. She also participated in Forensics, Girls State, Spanish Club, Venturing Crew and the National Honor Society.
She earned many awards, including George Mason University Dean’s Scholar Award, Bank of the James’ Ronld V. Dolan Citizenship Award, and first place for website design in the region and state. She will now go on to the national contest.
She will use her Ridge Scholarship to attend George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where she plans to major in management.
