About PCRS

We understand what you need from a coupon processor because PCRS was started by retailers, for retailers.  In the early 1950s, as coupons were gaining traction as a promotional tool, a group of Erie, Pa., supermarket operators were looking for an efficient reimbursement solution for the increasing volume of cents-off discounts they were giving customers. These PFMA members brought the issue to the association, which led PFMA to create PCRS to meet the coupon processing needs of association members.

PCRS offers value-priced, superior quality and transparent coupon processing services. We provide outstanding customer service and manufacturer deduction advocacy and education as well as guidance on proper coupon handling procedures and fraud concerns.

PCRS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PFMA, with profits helping the association offset the cost of government relations and membership programs. This provides members with additional value for every coupon processed.
