The Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association (PFMA), an association of more than 800 retail, wholesale and consumer package goods companies, operating thousands of locations and employing over 200,000 employees is seeking a Director of Government Relations. This position will be responsible for the development of new programs and ongoing interaction with elected officials, state and federal agencies, legislative research, and membership education on issues and decision maker’s contacts. The Director should possess excellent communication skills and a college degree, plus at least five years of progressively responsible work experience including direct lobbying, supervision, management, budget development and strategic planning. Extensive prior experience in government relations business, association management or related services is preferred.
