It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Lisa Marie Dell’Alba, former PFMA Board Chair and a beloved leader in our industry. Lisa passed away on February 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was an inspiring force, a trailblazer, and a champion for PFMA and its members, making history as the association’s first female Board Chair.
As the President of Square One Markets, Lisa’s leadership, vision, and relentless dedication helped move the industry forward in countless ways. She had a rare gift for recognizing the strengths of others, empowering teams, and bringing people together to achieve great things. Her impact extended beyond PFMA, as she was an active member and contributor to the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), always striving to elevate the industry she loved.
Lisa was a force of nature—driven, passionate, and full of life. She poured herself into everything she did, whether it was mentoring others, planning family adventures, or excelling in her many personal pursuits. She was an accomplished martial artist, earning a second-degree Black Belt in mixed martial arts and a Purple Belt in Jiu-Jitsu. A dancer and teacher, a car enthusiast, and a meticulous planner, Lisa found joy not only in experiences but in crafting them for those she loved.
Above all, Lisa was devoted to her family. Her husband, Steve, and son, Coltrane, were the center of her world, and she fought with unwavering strength to be present for them. Her deep love and boundless energy touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Lisa’s legacy will endure in the countless lives she influenced and the industry she helped shape. We will miss her leadership, her vision, and the infectious enthusiasm she brought to every endeavor. Our hearts are with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rest in peace, Lisa.
Your impact will never be forgotten.
